Highfields Golf & Country Club first opened for play in September, 2002. The course was designed by the team of Geoffrey Cornish, Brian Silva, and Mark Mungeam.
Highfields was routed through prime scenic woodlands. Many of the rolling fairways are tree lined. The generous greens are challenging and water comes into play on a few holes. The course is the centerpiece of The Highfields at Grafton, a gated golf community. The homes are separated from the course by tree-lined buffer areas and green spaces.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 7,021 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,266 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 9, a par-5 that plays to 622 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 17, a par-3 that plays to 136 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 9, the 520 yard par-5 challenge is the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Highfields Golf & Country Club is # 3, the 136 yard par-3.
